When we take time to consider the Kingdom, we realise the vastness of it. The Kingdom is way bigger than us! It gives us perspective and helps us see the bigger picture. That this is not just about me and my personal salvation but is much much bigger. Whilst everything we do as Christians should come from a personal revelation and relationship with Jesus, the Kingdom reminds us that this is not simply about us. That we have a part to play in a much bigger, glorious plan of redemption for advancing this Kingdom. This helps us to look up and out to focus our faith beyond us, to seek the bigger picture of His Kingdom coming to earth and His will being out worked here on earth.
So today as we pray those simple yet powerful words. Lets take time to consider the bigger picture, that this is not all about us, but that we have a part to play in something much much bigger.
